SEPT 25, 2020: Tapestry Hall and Straight Street Event Services have partnered together to offer a state-of-the-art digital streaming studio and virtual stage.
COVID AND LIVE STREAMING
Live streaming was on the rise before the pandemic of 2020 hit, but since COVID-19 changed the way we gather, live streaming has become a must for musical artists, businesses, even friends and family to congregate. It is essentially the way of the future when it comes to connecting with an audience across the globe!
With the increase of cell phone use and stay at home efforts, benefits include (but not limited to) accessibility, real time conversation or presentation and instant connection. Live streaming is a way to capture an audience on mass in a manner that is engaging, entertaining and most of all safe during our current health crisis.
ONLY 40 MINUTES FROM DOWNTOWN TORONTO
Set in a picturesque venue only forty minutes from Toronto, this new digital live streaming studio comes equipped with all that you need to perform to an audience from anywhere across the province, country or world.
There is also the ability to offer a hybrid stream, with up to 50 guests currently in attendance (guest numbers subject to change as per government regulations, capacity is 500 post COVID-19). This allows for presenters or musicians to perform to a live audience while digitally accessing people anywhere on Earth.
Virtual events offer a way for clients to reach a large audience in a budget friendly manner.
FIRST DIGITAL HYBRID CONCERT SUCCESS
The first of the hybrid concerts took place on Thursday Sept 17th, 2020 and was considered a huge success. The Band uRL performed before a live audience, while taking live requests from viewers digitally watching at home. Hundreds of people joined the fun from their phones and computers, keeping the band on their toes with requests. The interactive digital stream was executed with a user-friendly interface, that relayed messages in real-time to the band.
